I think that my biggest weakness in my artwork is drawing the background *nervous chuckles*. I can't seem to find the right balance between poorly detailed and overly detailed. You don't want it to be too detailed because it will ruin the focus to the foreground and the Characters, and poorly detailed is just sloppy work....not to mention the color balance...

can anyone recommend tutorials or DA artists that can teach me how to draw better background effectively. ^_^
